The short answer
Solar systems fail in one of three places: the booster that heats water when the sun cannot, the pump and controller that move water to the roof, or the collectors and tank. Cold on a sunny day points to the pump, controller or collectors. Cold after cloudy days usually means the booster. Solar replacements must be tempered to 50°C at the bathroom.
