About Corlette
Three beaches take up most of Corlette's shoreline, which runs for a little over 4 km along the southern side of Port Stephens, just west of Nelson Bay. On its western edge the suburb follows the water of Salamander Bay, and two of the beaches line its northern shore. The larger of those two, Bagnalls Beach, lends its name to a reserve and to a large housing estate inside the suburb.
